  • A candidate has to first register for XAT at www.xatonline.net.in obtain XAT ID and password, make the requisite payment and complete the XAT registration procedure.ation procedure.

  • XAT 2012 Eligibility Criteria
  • All the applicants who want to appear in XAT 2012 should have minimum bachelor's degree under the 10+2+3 pattern of education. All the candidates who are appearing in the final year exams they should be completing their graduation degrees maximum by June 10, 2013. To register for the exam candidates can visit the official website of XAT 2012 www.xlri.net.in / www.xlri.ac.in.
  •  Work Experience required for XAT 2012:
  • Application Fee for Xavier Aptitude Test 2013        
  • Rs. 950/- for General Candidates
  • Rs. 650/- for SC/ST Candidates

Register for XLRIegister f - If the XAT ID and password furnished are correct, the XLRI Registration page opens up wherein the candidate's basic personal details are displayed (as filled in XAT registration). The candidate has to now decide on the programme(s) he/she is opting and the requisite amount depending on the number of programme(s) is to be paid. After completing these details, opt for payment mode as Bank Mode and submit the form, Bank Pay-in-slip will be displayed.

    • XLRI Registration charges - The XLRI Registration charges depends on number of programme(s) applied for. The cost is as follows:
      For General candidates
      IDBI Bank - Cash Mode - Rs 1050/- for one programme or Rs 1650/- for more than one and maximum of three programmes.
      For SC/ST candidates
      IDBI Bank - Cash Mode - Rs 750/- for one programme or Rs 1250/- for more than one and maximum of three programmes. Candidate should submit the SC/ST certificate with the confirmation page to XLRI

    Paper Pattern
    The exam will have two parts. The first part will have multiple-choice questions on three sections namely data interpretation & quantitative ability, analytical reasoning & decision making and verbal & logical ability. The time allotted for it is 2:20 hours.

      • The time allotted for it is 2:20 hours.
      • The next part will have essay writing and the general awareness section and time stipulated for it is 40 minutes.The General Awareness Section will have 20 to 30 questions.
      • b. There is negative marking in the exam. 1/4th of the marks allotted per question are termed negative in case of a wrong answer.
