Ideal Times

Ideal Classes not only thinks of academic progress of students but it is also interested to promote non-academic talents of the students. With that intention, Ideal foundation works & with the same intention, Ideal Times is introduced.

In October, 2006 the first issue of Ideal Times was published. In this monthly magazine, students' articles, poems, quizzes are published. In addition to this professors as well as non teaching staff make contribution in their own way. Ideal Times also boast of a small note by the principal Prof. Jagdish Walawalkar and the editorial from the chief editor Prof. Smita Trivedi.

The chief editor is supported by advisory board, which consists of Prof. John Lopez, Prof. Rajitham & Mr. Nandkishor Parab.

On an average, 5000 copies of Ideal Times are printed & these are circulated free among all the Ideal students as well as franchises.

Yet another endeavor....

Another stride...

When we started Ideal Times in 2006, many were surprised. There were many "Why’s" and many "But’s". I remember one expression, which is in latin, it is ‘Cuibono’. It means "what good is it?" or to what end does it serve? Or let us be precise, whi gains by it?

Now let us put it in this way, "Ideal times cuibono?". Then our answer is for the students. What good it is, then our answer is it will help to unleash the hidden talents. How will these talents be unleashed?. The students contribute in Ideal times in form of Articles, poetries, riddles. It is a magazine for the students and by the students.

Ideal times is a brain child of Principal Jagdish Walawalkar. Referreing to this context he said "My intention is make the circuit of knowledge noticing which parts lie waist and uncultivated, to exude the creativity of the students and canalize the energies of the students on the path of improvements".

It has always been a great joy in presenting each and every issues of Ideal Times.

The greatest joy will be, ‘Shishyad ichehet parajayam’, the students should be better than their teacher !

Hope you enjoy this Kaleidoscope!

Keep smiling!!
