Admission procedure
Applicants can register themselves for admission to M.B.A. (Full-Time) throughFMS website www.fms.edu by filling up online registration forms and by payingthe requisite fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs.350/- for SC/ST/Physically Challengedcategory) for each programme, during 12th September, 2012 to 14th December , 2012. Admission to M.B.A.(Full-Time) Programme will be based on Personal Interview, Group Discussion andCAT-2012 score (Common Admission Test conducted by Indian Institutes ofManagement during October 11, 2012 toNovember 06, 2012) while admission to Ph.D Programme will be based on PersonalInterview and CAT 2012 score, if applicable. Applicants may visit www.catiim.infor appearing in the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2012. Applicants who have nottaken CAT-2012 will not be considered for admission. The details of PersonalInterview based admission procedure / selection criteria for these programmesare available in the Information Bulletin of Faculty of Management Studies.
EligibilityCriteria
1. Candidates applying for admission to the first year of MBA (Full-Time)Programme must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor's Degree Programme after12 years of formal schooling in any of the following disciplines The minimumrequisite percentage of marks in different disciplines is as follows :-
- Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences - 50%
- Sciences - 55%
- Mathematics or Statistics - 60%
- Medicine, Engineering or Technology - 60% / CGPA of at least 600 in a scale of 1000
OR
- Post Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks
